2nd Gemini New Moon ~ 19-6-2012

Foxgloves as far as the eye can see at Madron Carn

Nobody would describe me as 'consistent' would they? I'm astonished to see that  loyal friends still come here looking for words and I apologise for disappointing you so often.
This is by way of making an intention under a Gemini New Moon to get back here and to try to discover where my writing wants to go.  God knows, I have more than enough material!
Fingers in far too many pies is a lot of the trouble - something has to be neglected for everything to which I devote any attention and I won't even begin to describe the intricacies of balancing a garden and two allotments with running a small business during the wettest summer ever. Mayhap they'll yield a tale or two, let's hope!   Meanwhile, go safely and well,   M x

  1. It is good to hear from you M and I am glad all is well, despite all the rain! It has been a crazy summer so far hasn't it?

Hope we get some more sunshine soon.

Sending lots of love your way!

PS. I love the picture - we have loads of foxgloves in our garden this year, growing out of cracks in paving stones and all sorts - wonderful!

  3. Hello my dear Susannah - yes rain, rain and more rain. We dug a pond last weekend and have already found the overflowing point! What a year of fits and starts! You too?
There has been massive clearance nearby of huge areas of rhododendron which has been identified as an attractant of the tree disease phytophthera (not sure if that's the correct spelling) and the foxgloves have appeared in their wake - I suppose the seeds were just waiting for all those years of darkness! Perhaps a metaphor in there somewhere? Are you writing? I lost you and missed you too..

  4. Sy! I'm trying to get my writing back but am a bit blocked and muddled about what I want to write - I'm sure you know what I mean :) I have missed it though and spend far too much time on facebook getting over-stimulated and led astray !

  5. I've missed your blog updates M! I so know what you mean about getting muddled with writing. I'm moving to Wales in October for a year and am planning to finish 'this restless soul' by then. Not planning on taking my laptop or camera when I go (want to try living like a true ascetic for a while) xx

  6. you see Sy? I don't even come here in case I end up writing ;) Wales sans IT sounds just the thing to focus the creative juices - good move. I have been following TRS's progress and like it more and more. What a great project it has been, mainly due to your committment to continue writing... I'm sure that's right - I just can't bear the idea of the constant and inevitably copious editing. I'm just lazy :) Be well M x

  8. Hello dear Morvah! I see that you, too, have been inactive... This is such a problematic year! Just updated my blog if you will like to check it... Speack about the crises in Portugal and how we try to overcome it and where I find inspiration.
