The tapestry of a Cornish lane
Perfect rubies of wild fuchsia.
This baby is my namesake, Morvah. She's three months old and growing fast.
She lives on a storybook pretty farm where she will have a wonderful life with lovely caring people.
Have a good week!
Wonderful photos Morvah!
ReplyDeleteI love the colours in the first photo and I would love to walk down that Cornish lane!
Just look at that beautiful pup, I can just imagine what her fur feels like. (And I love the fact that she hasn't quite got control of her ears yet.) :-)
A lovely post!
Thanks also for the info about St Johns Wort, interesting to know that it is a Leo herb and its associations.
Happy Summer Solstice to you and yours. x
Lovely pictures Morvah, so vibrant! Esp love the lane. Cornwall is so beautiful, I visited Polruan a few years ago. The landscapes and walkways were fantastic!

Thank you both, This is the lane that leads down to the road from Nine Maidens Common, a stretch of moorland heath which has many remains of ancient sacred ceremonial archaeology (see solstice post) and exquisite heathland flora and fauna. We have fought hard to protect this stretch of moor from those who would attempt to turn it into a pleasure park but that's another story! It is a little bit of heaven and we're fortunate enough to have it on our doorstep.
