You might think that the current Mars in Aries energy along with all the other hot stuff going on would be far too strong for plants - not so, I sowed these salads and brassicas on Sunday teatime under the Aries New Moon and this morning - 62 hours later they joined the chillies in the sunny bedroom window! So plant those seeds and nurture those good intentions, there really is no time like the present.
wow, looking good! My sister grew loads of veg last year, courgettes, pumpkins, aubergine, peas and butternut squash. We cooked a lot of it and the rest we donated to the local foodival. The foodivals a really cool event where people deposit home-produced veg and local resturants cook it. the next day the foods given out in the community centre.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic idea! You guys in the cities really are ahead of the game in the area of community events! Plenty of squashes here too, we are still using stored ones from last summer's bumper crop - I think they enjoyed all that rain! We are moving soon and will have a greenhouse so those chillies should do well.
ReplyDeleteThats so cool, my sister just made a small make-shift greenhouse using plastic and an old table. A real greenhouse would be fantastic!
ReplyDeleteTTT are amazing! They organise all sorts of art/ green living projects in Tooting, although I've not heard of any other towns in London that do anything similar. Its a really quirky place to live!
